Meet Xanthi

Licenced Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPC, PhD(c)

Back in 1993, after graduating from Northeastern Illinois University with a degree in Linguistics, I could never imagine the expansive journey that lay ahead.

My path led me to embrace the holistic lifestyle on a picturesque Greek island. Over the course of 23 years, I hosted holistic retreats that were rich with personal growth, deep learning, self-exploration, and connections with inspiring individuals from around the globe. This chapter of my life was magical, filled with daily reminders of the human spirit's resilience and the joy of community.

However, a part of me craved deeper knowledge to better assist others on their personal journeys. This pursuit brought me back to academia, leading to a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Hellenic American University in Athens.

Today, I am pursuing a PhD in Psychology at Meridian University, exploring the intriguing intersection of Yoga and Transpersonal Psychology. My home alternates between the sunny shores of Greece and the vibrant landscapes of the United States, allowing me to enjoy the best of both worlds. This rich blend of experiences continually informs my approach to psychotherapy, combining ancient wisdom with modern psychological insights to offer a truly nurturing, holistic approach in my sessions.
